Bachmann Spectrum USRA 4-8-2 Light Mountain
When I received my very first Bachmann Steam Locomotive 4-6-2 I was very impress with the details, operation, and had DCC/Sound which was amazing. For the 4-8-2, this is the first Bachmann Spectrum to own. Once again, the locomotive itself is largely detailed, has some weight, it’s a long locomotive, and will be considered to be the largest steam locomotive for my layout. And also because this engine is very detailed, it’s recommended for much older age people to handle and operate. I plan to convert this engine to be DCC and Sound Equipped (Soundtraxx Econami 200 Steam) which will really make this steamie very sweet to operate and since the locomotive was originally DC. And I’m in love of these 20th Century locomotives. Having the head light mounted on the front of the smoke box which is one example why I love the 20th Century locomotives. I also have more HO Scale 20th century locomotives and all of them are Bachmann. Once I get a decoder installed in the 4-8-2, I can’t wait to operate this locomotive. Hope the rest of you can get these type of locomotives cause I can bet they’re hard to find.
