1971 funk classic performance, Good Gawd
A full range of performances from James made in 1971, in the only live recording to feature the 'original' JBs. A great listen, which was buried for a while after contractual/pay disputes (the usual fate of his musicians). The CD is a reduced version of the show. Sundazed has issued a full, 3-disc vinyl version containing many more numbers, but this CD is very worthwhile.

Solid soul from a funky diva
70s compilation of highly listenable soul interpreter. Backstabbers is my favourite. Also highly recommended: James Brown's Funky Divas, double album with gems including early Tammi Terrell vocals.
