A good example of Vietnamese cinema.
I’m glad I got The Vertical Ray of the Sun (2000) for the collection. It’s such a good-looking movie (even though I never seen it before). I found it in my insert for Zhou Yu’s Train (2002) 2004 DVD and I figured, yeah, I can get it for my ever increasing Sony Pictures Classics collection.
This is a good example of what a Vietnamese movie should be.

My Review
I hove this movie! My mom and I watched it on VHS back in September 2022. And I’m happy to have it on 4K as part of my 4K collection! That’s all I have to say.

A Very Simple and Good South Korean Movie
3-Iron (빈집 - Bin-jip) (2004) is a very simple and good South Korean movie. I would recommend anyone to watch it.
Also, from the late Kim Ki-duk: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring (2003).
