Best bang for the buck in a Premium tire.

Good balance of performance dry or wet. Smooth quiet ride. About 25 percent cheaper than the big names for an equivalent tire. No experience in snow.

New lightweight bags just don't last.

These older leather bags will last longer than you are likely to play. For an extra pound or so, find a vintage bag you like. They also stand better, the new light designs are prone to tipping over.

Don't cheap out on a chain

Contrary to popular belief, chains do NOT stretch. They wear at each link. A quality chain will outlast 2 cheap chains and save lots of adjustment time.
