II is better than 1
Love the smaller footprint over Intellivision I. Love the detachable controllers. Love the power indicator light. Seems much more 'solid' and well put together as a unit. Power supply external to console and easily replaceable. Only complaint is the power on/reset button itself doesn't seem consistent. Hold it down for a few seconds and sometimes it resets and sometimes you have to repeat until it works, or power off the unit (I use a power switch to plug the power supply into) but it always 'feels' solid anyway...
