Decent bit of tech
The steam link is easy to set up, definitely use a wired network. There is no noticeable lag, games do have a tendency to freeze more often. This may be due to me running a gtx 570 rather than a more powerful card.
You do end up spending half your time trying to make it work. It loses connection often and for some reason I had to untick the box 'xbox 360 controls' to be able to use a wired xbox 360 controller. Then tick it again for other games otherwise the D pad wouldn't work.
For the price though you can't really complain. You can close steam big picture and it will duplicate your pc monitor. You haven't lived till you've played Pokemon yellow on a 50'' screen
