Still a very good vampire flick.

Some of the makeup and effects are a bit dated, but this movie continues to entertain and generate a solid chill. This effort is supported by a particularly creepy James Mason and a host of excellent character actors and actresses. Recommended!

The Flight of the Phoenix (Criterion Collection) [New Blu-ray] Subtitled

Disappointing blu-ray

I own the DVD version of this movie and was anticipating an enhanced visual experience from the blu-ray. This Criterion blu-ray is very grainy and inferior to the image quality of the DVD. I regret having purchased it.
