These insoles are HUGE - including in thickness which you can't trim. Maybe 1cm thick. Much too large for simply padding slightly oversized shoes. Am going to keep in case they work with wellington boots. Quality seems OK, but if you're looking for something for trainers or work shoes, these will be far too thick.

Bulky, heavy even when empty

This backpack is unusually heavy and stiff, and has lots of bulky features, including a bulky 'board' across the back. It also sits very high on the back (so hard to tilt your head back while wearing it). And even when the various buckles are undone, it is still hard to get the capacity I actually had from a smaller, lighter backpack. The straps are also incredibly long and need cutting and re-stitching if you're a small or medium sized adult! The bag is actually quite well made, with padding etc, and might be good for carrying a laptop. But it's heavy and cumbersome for sports gear, groceries or other day-to-day use. I could not return it as needed a bag urgently. I would not buy again.

Would not recommend for smaller items like earrings

Main point is that the 'basket' for jewellery has a very wide mesh, you can't use it for earrings or smaller items (the main things I want to clean!) They will simply drop through. The liquid is highly toxic, so the whole process of using it without the basket is very tricky. Also the container is really filled right to the top, so be very careful on opening. It seems to brighten the items adequately, but is just very fiddly and difficult to use.
