Great Terrain

Sturdy MDF with great detailing. Fits together perfectly and once tetextured and painted, it looks great on the table! It arrived quickly and is a great price. I will definitely be buying more!

Third Party Jack Sparrow Figure - AMAZING! (except the hat)

So, the figure itself is amazing! The face is a great likeness of Depp, (I actually prefer it to that weird faced version that Hot toys put out...), the clothing is intricately detailed, well made and durable. The hair looks great, and he comes with all the accessories you would expect for a Jack Sparrow, and more. The body is easy to pose, and doesn't feel like bits are going to snap off when posing him... however...what is up with the hat!? I looks nothing like the hat in the item pictures, and if I'm honest, at first I didn't even realize that whatever I had picked up was supposed to be the hat. It's flat, lifeless, doesn't have the stitching effect on the side, and looks terrible on the figure! And considering how much the hat is a part of the character in the films, I would expect better. Such a shame, because if it wasn't for the terrible hat, this figure would be a definite 5 stars!!! And for the price I'd even go ahead and force a sixth star out of five! He looks great posed without the hat, so I still love having him in my collection, just bare in mind when ordering yours. (I might try to pick up a hot toys version of the hat to display him with later on...)
