Really good bargain for a good sounding mic
The Astatic 636L is a great sounding microphone for a good price. Audio comes through much more crisp and clear than a stock microphone. I have a collection of CBs and I own several Astatic mics. The cord isn't the highest quality, and they stretch out pretty easily. But you really can't complain for a mic that sounds this good for under $30.

Made well other than didn't fit
I have some aftermarket 7/8" bars on my snowmobile, and these fit loose. I had to find a way to make them tight in the bars. I was able to make them work, though. Other than them not fitting properly, I did think they were well made. If they were for 3/4" bars they'd have been 5 star.

Looks like a rebranded aftermarket part at full OEM price
When I lost the stator on my 82 Mercury 115hp, I took some time to consider whether I wanted to spend the extra money to buy a factory stator, vs. buying an aftermarket stator. The Sierra was $179 and the Mercury was $269. From the pictures, you could see the wires on the Sierra were only about 1/3 the size of the ones on my original stator. So I decided to spend the extra money to buy a Mercury stator. When it got here and I opened the box, I was really pissed to find the Mercury stator looked just like the Sierra stator with little tiny wires that go to the switch boxes. I understand that Mercury isn't going to waste time and money building parts for old motors, but if they contract out to aftermarket and relabel them as Mercury, they could at least be made to original spec. So just buy the Sierra and save your money.
