    MC-1-M .061-.250" by .001" Minus Tolerance Pin Gage Set - 190 Gages
    24 May, 2018
Good quality gauge pins, but poor quality carrying case.
I did not give this product five stars because, although the pin gauges themselves are great, the plastic carrying case leaves much to be desired. I checked all 190 pins with my digital micrometer and they were all spot on. They appear to be made of hardened steel such as drill blanks. Each one is laser engraved with its diameter, although some of the smaller ones are very difficult to read. Now on to the plastic carrying case. The case itself holds all the pins in place, as it should, but the decimal values that are printed on the plastic insert that holds the pins were printed so far vertically offset that it's easy to mistaken which value is for which pin. I already grabbed the wrong pin for a job I was working on, and luckily I realized the error before I started machine my part! In order to help prevent grabbing the wrong pin again, I placed a label inside the plastic case that reads: "Reminder: Decimal value for each pin is BELOW the pin!". Also, the plastic case came with a paper chart stuck to the inside of the lid which is a decimal/fraction conversion chart. That would be nice if it were readable, but the printing was so light that the numbers were extremely difficult to read, and the chart was stuck on the lid far enough off-center that one edge of it was badly curled over and torn from getting caught between the lid and the base of the case (typical poorly made imported workmanship). I ended up ripping the chart off and cleaning the glue residue with a solvent. Also, the insert which holds all 190 pins had a layer of oily dirt over the entire surface. I had to carefully remove each of the 10 rows of pins in order to clean it with a rag, and then make sure to get all 190 pins back into the correct positions. The white rag I used ended up black with sooty residue when I finished! So, the bottom line is, you will get a very good set of quality gauge pins for a reasonably cheap price, but the case and its various components are really poor quality. With some elbow grease and about an hour of your time, those things can be cleaned up and improved.
    Aimpoint Pro Dot Sight

    Excellent Product
This optic looks and feels like the top quality that is. It is rugged, accurate, and extremely well-made. The only negative thing I could say about it is, it's a little pricey. Sure, quality costs money, but $425 just seems a bit high for this device. I would have expected to pay about $100 less for it, but since I cannot find a brand new one for less than the price I paid for it, then that's the price I was forced to pay if I really wanted one (and I did really want one!). Aimpoint makes exceptional quality optics, and I would not want to put anything of less quality on my M4 carbine. I highly recommend this to anyone who can afford it, and who wants only the finest quality optic on their rifle or carbine!

100W 28KHz Ultrasonic Cleaning Power Driver Board 110VAC
    19 Jun, 2016
    Wimpy Driver Board
Although this driver is advertised as producing 100 watts of cleaning power, I doubt very much that it comes close to that. I've had 50 watt ultrasonic cleaners that do a better job than this one. I used a brand new 28KHz ultrasonic transducer/horn assembly properly cemented to a stainless flat-bottom bowl. I even tried tuning the circuit by switching in various inductors and capacitors in an effort to match the driver impedance to the transducer impedance but without success. It does produce some ultrasonic power, but it barely gets the water moving at all. 100 watts of ultrasonic power should make the water appear to "simmer", almost like a low boil, but this board is so wimpy that the water hardly vibrates at all. Don't waste your money on this driver board like I did.
