A compact unit that is relatively easy to operate.
The VistaQuest VQ-DV7 was purchased as a gift for a daughter. The goal was to purchase a new digital camcorder at a bargain price, without sacrificing resolution or memory. The VistaQuest VQ-DV7 met the criteria.
Initially, the user/operator manual leaves much to be desired. However, if one reads the manual while trying to master the sequence of buttons, etc., it does not take long to become relatively proficient in operating the camcorder/camera.
The very compact unit comes with the required batteries, USB cable, manual, and drivers (on mini CD). Having personally used this VistaQuest VQ-DV7, I can state that it quite capabably meets my expectations and the immediate need of my daughter to record the activities and milestones of her two young children.
