Comfortable strings that provide smooth, richly deep, mellow tone
This is my first time to try these "White" strings after using the "Black" strings for years. Although, at this point, I can't honestly say that I prefer them over the "Black" strings, I can say that I like them just as well. I have several bass guitars and I put these "White" strings on an Epiphone Allen Woody Rumblekat . Comfortable to play, these strings give me tones I prefer for the music I play. I highly recommend them for anyone who likes a mellow, deep, upright bass type of sound. Craig Jones

GHS Light Gauge Strings
The light gauge and tone of these strings makes for ease of playing along with a great sound on my Michael Kelly Dragonfly Fretless 4 Bass guitar. I use GHS Boomers (GBXL) on my Fender Telecasters as well..

A great guitar nut with a logical design.
I used this nut system (Zero Glide ZS-18) on my Hofner B Bass Hi-Series and it improved the open notes substantially. Although I had to file the height of the nut down, it was no big deal. Also the new strings (La Bella Black Nylon Flat Wrapped) stay in tune very well. In the future I plan to try some of these Zero Glide nut systems on some of my other guitars that have either a tremolo or a B-Bender on them.
