A modern love story with ancient, otherworldly characters.
Engrossing story, great characters! Make the world of witches, vampires and daemons seem believable in our modern world. Lots of history and science combines with an excellent plot. I cannot put this book down! Buy the trilogy, if you can!

Great item, good price.
I collect vintage gold-filled lockets, and many do not include bails. These are great, simple, and go with many chains, too. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The Duchess of Windsor, book by Charles Higham
This account of the meeting, courtship and marriage of the Prince of Wales and a twice-married American woman changed the course of British history and, possible, World War II. The book, using interviews from comtemporaries of the couple , as well as documents, provides an insight into the society, mores and political atmosphere of upper crust life between the wars.
The two individuals, David and Wallis, are described and defined well, and their married life is thoroughly described in detail.
A very riveting account of a unique couple and their world and times.
