Wrong ramp surface
2 of 2 found this helpful The ramp is lightweight and solid enough but the surface for the dog to walk on is appalling. It is like a rough grade sandpaper. When the ramp was open and on the floor for the dog to get used to it there was no problem. The minute it was attached to the car the dog could get no grip due to the angle, slipped and refused to use it. It needs a non slip, soft, rubber type surface to give the dog confidence and grip. I will buy the covering I need and continue to use the ramp as it is sturdy enough for our 40kg dog. Disappointed that a little bit of thought hasn’t gone into this surface.
