Poor workmanship and quality control
12 of 15 found this helpful I've owned several MX518s purchased from authentic Logitech sources but this mouse feels different. The silver design face covering the mouse is cut poorly so you can feel a jagged edge all around the mouse and buttons. The scroll wheel is misaligned in the housing and rubs, making it harder to use. Also, the scroll wheel is made of an inferior rubber that permanently deforms if you press your fingernail into it -- the older mice use a much more durable material. I loved the original MX518 but this mouse is disappointing.
