easy to read but mainly if you are interested in high fashion

The parts of the book about Paris at the end of WW2 are very interesting. I was less interested in the parts about the fashion industry. A lot of real people are mentioned including Ernest Hemingway, the composer Poulenc et al. I wish these characters had been more developed.
