Very very good

no knots , sap pockets , soft grain spins. Good select grain. Consistently hard. Probably western maple but feels like the weight of eastern rock. (maybe it is) Ebonol(fake) fingerboard is hard enough for my fretless conversion. This project panned out great . These necks are above and beyond the call of quality for the money. They even throw in a free bone nut :o)
