DR WHO HISTORY LESSON
0 of 1 found this helpful I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS. HE IS 17 YRSOLD AND HAS BEEN FOLLOWING THE NEW DR WHO SERIES . He is very interested in the Daleks and the history of Dr Who. I BOUGHT THIS SET BECAUSE IT CONTAINS SOME OF THE VERY EARLIEST AND RARE DR WHO EPISODES INCLUDING THE FIRST DALEK EPISODES.
INTERESTINGLY THESE EARLY STORY LINES OFTEN CONTRADICT SOME OF MORE MODERN EPISODES WHICH SEEM TO HAVE WRE WRITTEN THE HISTORY BOOKS PROBABLY TO IMPROVE AND SPICE UP THE DEVELOPING SERIES
TRUTHFULLY IT IS VERY DATED, SLOW AND A LITTLE BORING AND WOULD ONLY APPEAL TO DIE HARD FANS OF THE SERIES OR COLLECTORS . IT IS ALL BLACK AND WHITE WITH NO MODERN SPECIAL EFFECTS . IT DOES HOWEVER GIVE ANY BUDDING WHO HISTORIANS THE BEST GROUNDING INTO THE EARLY HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF THIS MOST FAMOUS SCI FI SERIES.
