Great to be able to get COTTON tights!
My daughter's feet really suffer in nylon tights, but she wants to be able to wear a skirt and tights to school like her friends, so it was wonderful to be able to find her these black mostly-cotton tights (54% cotton) which let her feet breathe. These tights don't go baggy, as they are 7% elastane. However, they are rather thin, and much more blobby than nylon tights, so they're quite different from her friends' tights. The alternative was thick ribbed tights, which are "for children and old ladies", so she tells me..
So I'll keep buying these - they seem to last quite well; we're both happy with them.

Out of date, out of print: but dear to our hearts; a piece of history!
It's a shame that these maps have been discontinued. If you're lucky enough to have your journey fit onto just one of these maps, they will generally get you there, or somewhere near, as long as you have a compass and can read a map, even if progress and the march of civilisation has made the real environment differ from the printed (old) one.
But having to use two maps, if you progress past one map's boundary, is not really a hardship, as they are quite small and light to carry. Just don't get caught by the wind!

Do read this review: a very useful tape measure!!
So glad that the old tape measure got broken - this one is SO much better. It has all of the usual features, but the favourite innovation is that it doesn’t retract until YOU decide when. So, if you pull it out a couple of yards, and then accidentally let go, it won’t try to rewind.... you don’t have to engage the ‘lock’ until you have the right measurement. Far less fiddly than repeatedly locking and unlocking. I hadn’t considered this, until it arrived - bought it mainly as it was a good price. Looks robust too; I wish I’d bought one years ago!
