Only cheap in price.
I have used other radio systems but since my first SKYLEADER unit mostly FUTABA which albeit expensive in fairness have been 100% reliable in every case.
I paid about £70 in some cases for 6 channel 2.4 ghz receivers
At the time I had 10 aircraft ready to fly.
I was however beginning to get involved in telemetry for purposes other than model flying and was pleasantly surprised that it came as part of the package.
That aside the unit feels solid, it is well designed, and i can now see why it is the popular choice of the aircraft and quadcopter flyers.
The computer design and layout is first class and intuitive in operation.
i have one and only one negative comment to make and it is the use of 4 AA batteries to power the transmitter
Rechargable NICAD would have been much better or LIPO would have been better still.
However thanks for a great little set which is only cheap in price.

Seems to work well,
Has no mototr connectoprs, which to me is a plus
