Very Satisfied with the AXDA3200DKV4E AMD Athlon XP 3200+ CPU 2.2 GHz
1 of 1 found this helpful It works excellent at 2.2 GHz if I am running 333 or 400 MHz Memory module's, However, if I slap in three 1gig 266 MHz module's then It causes an error and tells me to set the CPU rating for 1.82 GHz. Once doing so in the bios setup program, it operates without any problems. The CPU is not at fault. The motherboard and bios I am using will only allow up to 2 gigabytes of of RAM if it is over 333 MHz Memory module's. If I run with 400 MHz module's I can only put two modules of 1GB each in the banks. With this old ASUS Motherboard I have to either run the 2.2 GHz with only 2 GIG 400 MHz memory module's or run 3 GIG 333 MHz Memory module's. As I said, It's not the CPU's fault. It's the motherboard. However, I knew this problem would present itself before I ordered the Athlon 3200+ CPU.
