Poor Back-up Service make product a very poor purchase

My old sat Nav had failed after a number of years good use
This one had a very good specification
What you like most about it
Not only was it a Sat Nav but it also had a number of additional features which I considered worth the extra cost
The Sat Nav can be programmed to find house numbers in a street as well as post codes
What you dislike about it
The design and construction including the ac mains charger,
dc in-car charger and computer lead charged the batteries OK
The car fitting are good
My dislike is that the mini UPS lead/connection will not connect to a PC which means the following features do not work and inaccessible
1. The GPS system cannot be up dated
2 Video system cannot be loaded
3 Audio system cannot be loaded
4 e book cannot be loaded
5 Photo book cannot be loaded
The reason I believe is a faulty connection in the mini UPS connector.
I have proved this by using three different mini UPS cables and two computers
6. The unit should connect via FM radio transmission to an FM radio This feature is very weak It will not connect to my car radio (Mercedes C Class 4 years old). It will connect to a portable FM radio
The instruction booklet 140 x 100 mm is very poor and totally inadequate
The supplier kindly gave me a web address from where I down loaded a 92 page instruction manual which is comprehensive
Whether or not you would buy the product again
If the product worked as specified and as ordered I would buy one again and recommend them to friends and relations
As it is the supplier will not recognise there is a problem and replace or repair the unit
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE ONE OF THESE PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF THE POOR BACK UP FROM THE SUPPLIER
I have sent countless e mails requesting repair or replacement with only the offer of a £15
They wanted me to buy a card reader when I cannot see anything wrong with the micro memory card
How does this product compare with others ?
It is as good and I thought better than many on the market for the price
