Not a totaling machine
When they said "Dollar value counter" I thought you'd be able to put various denominations and get a total. It does not do that. You must separate banknotes and multiply each batch and ad manually.
Misleading, watch out

Lots of noise, the transmiter can not be powered from an AC adaptor, only battery
I wanted to power it from an AC to DC 9v adapter so it would be permanent, but the noise is terrible. I tried some filtering on the source but it did not work.
Otherwise it works OK from battery, but the frequency is not very stable and there are lots of interferences from other stuff in the house.

My son uses it at his welding job, it filters the fumes.
