Old but reliable
This B1260dn is the less feature option version of the B1260dnf which has fax, scan, copy and it was exactly what we wanted. These printers are work horses and the toner cartridges include the drum roller which is a feature that is being phased out of dell equipment requiring you to purchase drum rollers separately and is the reason we went to this discontinued model.
Dell now separates the drum rollers and the toner cartridges and the drum is almost as expensive as a new printer. Since we already own 2 B1260dnf, it only made sense to buy B1260dn as we dont' need every printer to scan/copy/fax but simply print.
Now we can utilize the toner cartridges we buy in bulk and only have to stock one size. Printer Network page is robust.
Refurbished or new in box, these printers just work without complication.
