Recommended, but no tabs
Good: Nice sample music that are not too hard to play. Helps you building a good foundation.
Not so good: contains no tabs so it would take a while to get used to if you can't read musical notes/symbols.

Disappointing - nothing like the original trilogy
Animation was ok and the mechas were well designed. The storyline was just awful as it kept jumping all over the place, not making any sense at all. It felt like several people wrote a lot of different parts and patched up together with no consideration to reality, making this film a childish junk, as opposed to a drama like the original series back in the 80s.
Looks Bandai was running short of cash so decided to get a quick fix by relying on the good old brand name. If you are a Gundam beginner, start with the original movie trilogy (or, even better, the complete TV series) - it will convince you that Gundam used to be a brilliant epic drama, not a children's catoon.
