Does the job, good for the price
2 of 2 found this helpful This being the cheapest dehydrator I found it’s decent. I used it to dehydrate some mushrooms and it did the job easily. The only thing is that it’s a little noisy, sounds like a having several very loud fans next to you. But if you place it in a different room and close the door you can’t hear much so that’s ok.
It does have a strong smell too, smells like heated plastic, it doesn’t melt the plastic or anything but it just smells like hot plastic and the smell is a bit strong. I can smell it even though it’s in another room with doors closed.
Overall I’m happy. It works as intended and was cheap. Extremely easy to use, just select the temperature and plug it in. It doesn’t have a timer or anything so you will have to turn it off but that’s fine. The capacity is quite large too, you can dehydrate quite a lot of things on it although it’s small and compact. Suits my needs. It feels like it’s good quality for the price, nothing crazy but defiantly not bad.

Works with MacBooks extended display
I got this to run 2 external monitors with my MacBook Pro M1. It worked. However there are a lot of bugs with the displaylink software which were annoying. The dock has a audio output but that didn’t work with the MacBook, that’s probably a issue with the macOS.
It’s a good dock but I don’t know if I would recommend it for use with a MacBook.
