Functional, but not pretty
These hoses work well and appear to be mainly made from good quality materials. They were easy to fit and all components were correct.
What is not so great is that they are covered in several pieces of black Raychem heat shrink sleeving - the kind used on electrical cabling. This sleeving is ugly, so your bike will not have shining stainless hoses after you have fitted them. Instead, the visible parts of your hoses will be black and of various thicknesses due to various layering of the sleeve, and will have the sleeve markings prominently showing - Raychem DR-25, not Goodridge.
Also, where this stiff heat shrink sleeving finishes, it creates a stress point where the hose will flex, so instead of bending in a nice gentle curve, the hose folds quite sharply where it flexes. As I say, they do work well, but I just hope they keep working and last at least as long as the original 12 year old hoses I have just put in the bin.
Happy enough...just, but disappointed with the look.
