I bought this refurbished fan to sit next to my other fan, which is the same model but brand new. The refurbished fan takes longer to start spinning and even longer to reach full RPM. However, once it does, it performs just as well as the new one.

Not up to the job
Our Kenwood hand blender finally broke after years of weekly use. Saw the positive reviews for this blender and decided to purchase but what a disappointment. The head and blades are so small they are just no good for blending.
The Kenwood blender was great for making smoothies with and as the Morphy Richards can apparently blend ice we thought it would do the same but the blades are just too small and make the whole process and effort.
I make my own mayonnaise and again my Kenwood would make a nice firm mayonnaise in 20 seconds but with the Morphy Richards it was runny. The head blades are not big enough and the motor is not powerful enough.
It states it had a ‘powerful’ 650 watt motor. The Kenwood has a 700 watt motor so they similar in power but pressing the button on each is like chalk and cheese. The Kenwood is more powerful by miles. You can hear and see the difference. I just don’t think the Morphy Richards motor is anywhere near 650 watts it states.
Unfortunately it’s just not adequate for my needs and will be replaced.
