Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 'pontoon fender' in red by CMC - AWESOME model
Firstly, this is a 1:18 model of Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa 'pontoon fender' from 1958, which is to say that every collector of 1:18 model cars should have one in their collection.
Secondly, of all the available models of this particular car, CMC offers the best one, and they did this shape justice! Thirdly, the color red is the most suitable color for this model out of the three colors offered by the CMC: The black (racing livery) tend to hide certain features that blend with the shadow, and thus the black model is perceived mostly as a silhouette. On the other hand, the white (racing livery number 22) model of LeMans' contender is ... too white, which flattens the dramatically sculpted shape.
250 Testa Rossa gained famed as the most successful racing Ferrari of its time, but that is not why most people still remember and adore it; They adore it primarily because of its dramatic shape and this shape is best viewed in red.
