Good quality plastic Nikon hood, but overpriced
It's classic plastic Nikon hood quality in line with all their other G lens hoods.
Durable, but way overpriced.
There's no reason to charge this much for a plastic hood.

Good for video, impractical for anything that is not level
The panning head is nice for video and the magnets are very handy for attaching to metallic surfaces such as poles, hedges etc.
However since the panning head cannot be locked in place for cases where movement is not desired (e.g. a vertical shot, or under any angle other than level), it's very hard to take pictures because the head with rotate along with the phone and will not stay where you want it to.
Would be excellent if the head could be locked in place for stills.
