Finally a container to sit 1.5kg flour bag in!
Very happy with the Lock & Lock 1.8L (HPL813) rectangular containers. Strong hard-wearing plastic and airtight with the rubber sealing rings in the lids and the four securing clips. Handy size for the kitchen cupboards and shelves.
I like to keep my flours in their packaging and was looking for airtight storage containers that will hold each 1.5kg flour bag still in its packaging. These 1.8L HPL813 containers did just that with a tight fit.
One of my unopened 1.5kg flour bag was a couple of cms too tall for the container, but I was able to squeeze the other two unopened 1.5kg flour bags (Sainsburys plain flour, and Carrs w/meal flour) into two of the four containers that I'd purchased.
The 1.8L rectangular container is also a good size for storing of other dry goods (up to 1kg decanted depending on the product) such as pasta (fusilli, rigatoni, macaroni etc), rice, cous-cous, beans/pulses, and of course baking ingredients like sugar, dried fruits, nuts etc.
