Trial and error
I like it.
On second thought, I would have bought de DC 8 Absolute for a more complete and powerful machine.
Bad news. After 2 weeks of my purchase, the same dealer in Montreal updated his offer online at $50.00 less.
Not pleasant to hear. Next time, I will be more patient and play the game with them.

Good product
Good old Sennheiser. I like them. It is my 4th set. But they have had the same recurring problem. The VOLUME control. I can see how the problem develops over time. The wheel of the VOLUME control is deep into the casing and has little aspirations or corrugation causing the user to have to PUSH DOWN to operate. Over time, this causes the mechanism to malfunction. The stereo sound becomes difficult to attain and I have had to use various contraptions to have the full sound. The volume module inside the casing is totally sealed and not accessible. I have yet, over the years, to find a shop to fix this recurring problem.
With my first set, I dealt with Sennheiser in Pointe-Claire, QC and had a tremendous service from a Mister Leblanc. The second time I contacted Pointe Claire, there was no longer repair service made available and the competent Mr Leblanc was no longer with the company. I wish there was service available in my region, in such a large city like Ottawa, Canada's Capital.
