Full of folklore and a joy to read.
This is a lovely little book. Like all by that publisher, could do with a competent proof reader, but the book is so good that it doesn't lose a star for the typos. It's quite amazing how much information is crammed in, covering holy wells and springs in the UK and abroad.

Even better than expected.
1 of 1 found this helpful I expected this to be good, certainly better than my old method of shaking milk in a jam jar. It's much better than I thought it would be, fast, effective and exceptionally easy to clean. It can turn a pot of double cream into good quality butter in 15 minutes or less. It is easy to work and not too tiring. Since getting it, I am now making all my own butter from organic double cream with a pinch of sea salt.

Unexpectedly good
I had tried several very poor quality hoses before deciding to give this one a try. It works very well and it's so nice not to have to sort out kinks in the hose all the time. It's easily stowed out of the way and has a good, steady jet of water.
