Watching - Malcolm and Brenda
1 of 1 found this helpful I had forgotten just how good this series was. Having seen most of it first time round I have watched it right through, twice in a fortnight.
The Liverool "in humour" takes a bit of following, but the witty one liners are still refreshingly sharp.
Thoroughly recommended

A really squirrel proof feeder
Brilliant! Within 24 hours it was inundated with small birds and the local squirrel has given up in disgust. Does exactly what it should.

Axminster AT325PD bench drill - first impressions
Quick delivery, and fairly easy to assemble - but there is a good clip on youtube, which will make it easier. The drill head is VERY heavy - I used a tractor loader to lift it into place, and it may need two people - or you can do it the way the guy does on youtube and save your back..
Quality is good, easy to use, the only issue I had was that I couldnt get it to wok at all, so I had to ring customer support - the emergency stop button was locked in the safe position. Depressing it and then rotating a quarter turn to the right does the trick!
It will need a sturdy base - I used a steel framed bench bolted into a concrete pad, which may be overkill, but you wouldnt want it to topple.
