Perfect for embroidery projects!
Nice range of colours received and good quality thread, smooth and easy to separate into strands for embroidering. Can't beat it for the price!

Merchant Princes series
The world which Charles Stross imagines in this series of books (Trade of Queens is book 6) is detailed, engaging and action-packed. The idea of there being other dimensions, parallel to ours which can be accessed, isn't new, but his interpretation of it is. He uses the premise to discuss modern politics in very interesting ways, comparing and contrasting our "reality" to the alternate realities and imagining how our politicians and people would react to the perceived threat of other dimensions. I really enjoyed this series, but felt that the ending didn't give enough closure for some of the characters I'd come to love. Perhaps there will be another book - there's certainly enough material for many more!
