Great sound quality
The Linn Ninka is one loudspeaker that would surely come as a most pleasant presence in any home décor; not that the series sports too many finishes that match anything, but the shape and generic looks of this speaker are almost timeless - the design is very "clear" and even sober, ideal for both a house that sports a retro look or a modern one, as well.
The Linn Ninka is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker that is just perfect for your day to day listening habits, for both music and movies, as well as for throwing some parties; it sports looks and brawn alike and can be used with exceptional results in both stereo applications (like flanking your TV, for example) or as exquisite front channel loudspeakers in surround multi-channel arrays. In either cases, the Linn Ninka will offer impressive performance and let you enjoy more from your audio media.
The Ninka sports a towering cabinet, tall and slender, made from high-density materials for stable and acoustically-inert behavior, with minimal coloration and distortions regardless of the volume level. The driver complement is formed from two bass/midrange woofers and a tweeter, all placed in a vertical d'Appolito formation, tweeter in the middle. The two 160mm-diameter woofers sports polypropylene cones with enhanced structural strength for better sound; they come with a metal cast chassis and twin magnet motor structures, yet safe for placement near sensitivity equipment due to the thorough shielding. The response of these drivers goes down to 50Hz in the passive Ninka and 38Hz in the active version.
The 3/4" tweeter sports neodymium magnets for fast and most precise operation, delivering shimmering highs up to 20kHz for a crystal-clear sonic imaging and increased sound transparency. It sports an infinite-baffle placement and the dome technology ensure optimal dispersion for exceptional listening conditions. The Linn Ninka works at 90dB sensitivity with 4 Ohms impedance.
