Compact, but eats tapes
1 of 1 found this helpful The product looks good, is compact, and I was excited about being able to play old cassettes. It is the reason I bought the item. Wrong! The item ate two cassettes, and I was not willing to risk another one since It would be impossible to replace them. Now the two cassettes are gone forever. Can't really comment on the sound quality, since didn't care about CD or radio. Needless to say, the item was defective and I returned it.

Simple and classy
Dual time; military and conventional. Green face easy to read, Shiny black case rich looking. Excellent watch at an excellent price.

One of the best of its time
Can't do much better than the original H-50. Some of the guests stars were the who's who of the period. Jack Lord was always a personal favorite; how could Stoney Burke be bad! Another favorite was Richard Denning who. I believe, portrayed the governor. James McArthur was excellent as McGarrets "Danno'. Great cast, and the theme song is, obviously, a classic. Never saw the remake, but I'm sure it pales in comparison to the original. A true classic, and as McGarrett might say "Book it, Danno!"
