Modern turntable with good quality sound
3 of 3 found this helpful This turntable has the legendary build quality of Technics with added modern benefits. It is not a DJ turntable nor a high end audiophile turntable, but a lively dynamic turntable that is very useful with a wide range of audio systems. It has a built in phono stage that seems to work very well with Ortofon 2M red cartridge. I’m running it through a NAD 758 with 4 Paradigm Millennium 300 and a small sub. The sound is big and very detailed, maybe a bit bass heavy on Jazz albums but really good on rock, almost like a live concert. I’m pretty sure one can achieve much more with this turntable with a more focused stereo setup.
