Worked first time

Connected one end to TV and the other to my laptop and my screen display appeared on the TV without my having to tweak the laptop's settings, so was happy with my purchase.

4K disc contents disappointing but a great film...

Liked this better than the original two films. It didn't have a romantic subplot slowing it down but was played more for laughs with Chris Hemsworth providing perhaps the most comic relief. I think the problem fans of the original films had was that this was a reboot of the franchise rather than a sequel and completely ignored those films. Sadly there won't be a sequel to this as I believe the next one is going to completely ignore this one! I can't comment on the quality of the 4K disc as I don't yet have a 4K player though I was disappointed to see that it only contains the extended version and none of the extras on it.

Cheap multi-region player

First had one of these free with The Poirot magazine and DVD collection and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's multi-region right out of the box (no hacks required), so I could play my US region 1 DVDs again. Only thing I don't like is the colour -- old fashioned silver, rather than modern black - but otherwise a perfectly fine player.
