When contacted, the seller offered a partial refund. The book was worthless to me so I turned down the partial refund. Then that was the last I heard from them. Since the seller failed to resolve the issue, eBay had to step in and resolve the case in my favor. Be careful about buying from this seller...I wouldn't have anything to do with them because they failed to take responsibility.

Plug n play (almost)
This was a simple part to replace. Remove about 25 screws to detach the back case, then about 4 screws to loosen the board, and finally unplug a few ribbon cables and wire harnesses. Reverse the process to assemble and turn it on.
