Works as it should. I wanted it this size as a compromise between emptying more often and easy storage in a small space. The pump needs several strokes becaues it is short. If the suction seems poor the seals may need to be tightened more as in the instructions. The tubes are a bit thick for the engine dipstick hole but it is easy to get some thinner tubing. Overall it is exactly what I need

Not accurate but very cheap

The laser is bright and seems well aligned within the mounting. Unfortunately the mandrels are plastic mouldings of poor quality. They do not fit centrally in the barrel putting the laser out of line. The instructions describe how to compensate but this is a tedious and not very repeatable process. It is very low cost and with persistence does give a useful indication of the bore line. It is a shame that an otherwise great tool is let down by something so simple.
