Well made, value for money
I bought this to charge a camper trailer with AGM batteries requiring daily top up charge. I wired out the controller as the camper has its own controller. The solar panel works really well - it is well made and sits at a good angle with the legs provided. In Melbourne in May it makes 60-80W, which is plenty for me.
I would not want to take it on a trip, as the metal edges are sharp - it would need a canvas bag to protect the cells surface and some edge protectors if I wanted to put it in the camper storage locker.

Decent build, works a treat
A decently built unit. I put some 8mm eye-bolts into the top so that I could sling it from the garage roof. Works a treat. I only need to lift 100kg tops but I still doubled up the cable to get the extra lift.

Perfect design
We bought this (superseded) unit to replace an identical one which had worn out after many years of hard use. It is perfect. I know Garmin has redesigned and replaced this model, but I don't care, this one is just right for us.
