It works, just depends for how long.

Been using for 2 weeks without any issues but was a bit disappointed that seller didn't specify that it's a student licence. It seems that the subscription is "Lifetime" for as long as Microsoft don't find out what it is. But again I might be wrong and it will last a lifetime.
Also it's not 1Tb of free OneDrive storage, it's actually 5Tb!!!
