Expensive and poorly designed
Ergobabys cost a fortune and yet you’re told they’re one of the best and you’ll love it but how disappointed I was when I opened and used it for the first time.
My 2 month old baby’s head was in contact with the support straps and there is no way to avoid it.
The straps padding end short of where it meets the baby seat and is positioned so poorly that you can help but think how could they overlook that when designing it?
Answer is they didn’t, they just made it to be ergonomic and that’s where it ends.
They could have placed the strap in a different place, that would have worked, or they could simply provide add on strap pads for smaller children.
You can buy some separately but hey are overpriced as well at £40!
No one seemed to pick this fault up in reviews and videos I watched when I was deciding which baby carrier to buy.
Unfortunately I thought if it’s expensive then it must be really good and worth the money but I was very wrong.
Don’t buy unless you have a baby older than 6 months and better yet, there’s other carriers that are far far cheaper that do exactly the same, for far far less money.
