If only they'd put this one on Blu Ray.
The only watchable version of this otherwise boring movie. The director's cut re-does the special effects, shortens some of the excessively long scenes and finally removes those stupid moons from Vulcan where no moon has gone before. If it was on Blu Ray it would be perfect. Why Paramount chose to use the horrible theatrical edition for the Blu Ray release is a mystery, unless they're just delaying the release of the Director's Cut on Blu Ray so they can force everyone to purchase the boring version before they have to buy it again when the salvaged version finally gets its upgrade.

does what it's meant to do.
Building the 1:1 scale replica of the Millenium Falcon model from The Empire Strikes Back via the weekly part magazine required a bit of plastic putty in the back of some of the seats around the chess table. This stuff does the trick nicely.

Mono sound, acting worthy of a Sesame Street 70s toddler sketch.
0 of 1 found this helpful Absolutely horrible. The mono soundtrack combined with the bad acting and pathetic screenplay makes this barely worthy of having bits that would be more suitable being used in an old 1970s Sesame Street sketch aimed at toddlers who don't know better. At times it actually did feel like I was watching an old episode of Sesame Street and I was waiting for the letter of the day to be announced. Sadly there were no Muppets to save the thing from the complete disaster that it was. This has now entered the list of my all time worst movies ever seen, and I've seen quite a few bad ones over the years. Avoid this film like the plague.
