Dyson DC14
I particularly like the general design and the power of the cleaner, the bagless design is an obvious economic plus.
The DC14 has an improved cyclone system that does not suffer from clogging like our old DC07.
My only dislike is the wrap around cable storage.
I decided to buy it after our old Dyson DC07 bit the dust.
(It took my wife 6 years to kill the Dyson DC07, previously she had been killing one bag type vacuum cleaner per year)

fixing an old boiler
Needed then inner flue seal for a 16 year old Baxi. rare as hens teath so had to buy the terminal adaptor.
got it on e-bay would have had to pay £86 at the plumbing suppliers.
Paid a lot of money for a £2 seal though.
Saved my old boiler at a fraction of the cost of a new boiler.

Gets me there and Gets me home
The maps on my Tom Tom GO920 started to get a little stale, they wanted £90 to upgrade them so it made sense to just by a newer TomTom off e-bay.
I particularly like the size of the XXL as I use it in my motorhome.
I'm used to, and like the Tom Tom interface and consider Tom Tom to be the market leader in this type of product.
