An Affordable Basic
1 of 1 found this helpful Every camera bag needs a lens that satisfies the photographer's needs most of the time. This 28-80 mm. lens does that for many. For wide angle shots of landscapes, to selective focus for portraits and close telephoto shots, this lens does the required. It is lightweight so is easy to carry attached to the camera. Used on a camera that can use its auto focus, it is good for quick shots of children and pets. I find this a very useful standard lens that costs less than a fixed prime lens, and even less bought used. It is photography on a budget, and can always be upgraded if needed. And when a longer telephoto is required, it can be replaced on the camera with a longer zoom, like a 70 - 300 mm. Two lenses can cover about 99% of many peoples' needs. The 28-80 zoom is often the most frequently used. It is a great addition to any photographer's equipment.

a Really Good Camera
There comes a time when a point and shoot camera is just not enough camera to satisfy the progressive amateur photographer. A top model professional camera is preferred, but the budget may not stretch far enough to get into prestigious hardware. What to do?
While few will jump from P&S to Pro, a nice affordable alternative is a factory refurbished DSLR from a reputable manufacturer. This is one affordable solution from Nikon, a name which ranges from P&S to the extreme prices and features of professional photography.
The D3200 is a camera with a long list of features, capable of being used as a simple point and shoot unit, or with a selection from the extensive menu, can be as automatic or manual as the user requires. The camera comes with four basic modes: auto, shutter priority, aperture priority and manual. It also has several specific modes for portrait, landscape, sports and others. With one group of lenses, it will also auto focus, plus add an optional remote and you can take pictures without being near the camera.
The camera body comes without a lens (or there are packages available that include both.) Most of the wide range of Nikon lens will fit this camera, and provide excellent quality photographs.
The refurbishment of the equipment is done by Nikon and carries a one year warranty, so it is nearly as good as new but at a more affordable price. And if money becomes no objection, a full range of cameras and lens, from beginner to the best professional quality is available and can be shared with your existing equipment. Your investment will continue to help you take excellent photographs, as good as you are willing to make them.

A Good One
1 of 1 found this helpful With the improvement of Digital Cameras and lens, and the quest of photographers to keep up with advances, a lot of equipment gets left behind. This adapter makes the use of older lens possible and extends the benefit of lens already owned, (or purchased at an affordable price,) to a modern camera body. This product works well and permits the use of older Nikon Lens on a micro 4/3 mount camera (Olympus or Panasonic.) That said, it does not work miracles and cannot make an older lens perform on a new model camera as well as a lens designed for the camera. For the cost, it cannot be beat. I have tried several different adapters and they all work, but some are better made than others. This item is one of the best. It is solid and fits well to the camera and the lens. Exposure and focus are manual, but that was the case years ago when many people learned photography. One thing to remember when considering purchase of an adapter: higher price does not equate to higher quality. The lowest price is not always the best value. This item offers good value from the quality of manufacture and the service it offers.
