A beauty of simplicity and conception
Beautiful watch, produced by Petrodvorets factory (Leningrad, now St-Petersburg) is dedicated to the famous Polish Renaissance mathematician and astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus,who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe. A black dial symbolises a night sky, a golden hand - the Sun, a ring hand - the Moon. The mechanism is well calibrated and this watch shows time precisely.
