Well built with quality features
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this reel as a stop gap whilst I saved for a more expensive big pit reel. However, I immediately fell in love with it and now intend to keep it. I really like the one touch handle. It also has brushes either side of the spool to prevent slack line from tangling behind it. It turns smoothly without wobble and its matt black appearance is pleasing to the eye. I would definitely recommend this reel. At the price it's great value for money.

Minces kilos in minutes
Made from robust plastic that stands a few knocks. The canvas carry bag is also strong and not one of those flimsy things that rips first time out. The bucket system is well thought out and is actually a practical arrangement. The bait boxes that come with it are freezer proof which is a great time saver when you get home. The blades on the crusher are good and strong being made from stainless steel not chromed mild steel. It gives me the impression it will last forever and I would recommend it to anhyone.

Great features and good looks too
I particularly like the line guard which prevents behind spool tangles. I also like the manual bail arm which cannot close on the cast thus preventing "crack offs". The reel turns as smooth as silk and the quick drag feature works like a dream. It looks good - plain black , no horrible "blingy bits".
